Local residents of Hart are invited to join Hart District Council, Berkeley Homes and Everyone Active to celebrate the official opening of the new Edenbrook Country Park.
The family funday event will take place on Sunday 15 September from 11am until 4pm.
The event marks the official handover of the country park that Berkeley Homes has built as part of their Edenbrook Village development, to Hart District Council. To celebrate the day, a host of activities for guests of all ages will be on offer, including a tumble tots wildlife trail, bird spotting,chainsaw carving with Rob Beckinsale, a mobile skate park and have a go at some street art with a professional graffiti artist. Everyone Active will be offering information on Hart Leisure Centre and fitness classes.
Throughout the day there will also be some exciting demonstrations on the brand-new BMX pump track, also launching on the day, by professional BMX riders which shouldn’t be missed. With a selection of 30 bikes, visitors can take to the new track to ride the ramps, half pipes and drops with the BMX professionals. Local Fleet bike supplier Pedal Heaven will attending the event to provide bike safety checks and general cycle advice to guests.
The entrance to Edenbrook Country Park is located at the end of Emerald Avenue, off of Hitches Lane in Fleet. Guests are encouraged to walk or cycle to the grounds, and bring a picnic to enjoy surrounded by nature.
Parking is limited, but visitors who have to drive can use the Hart Leisure Centre or the country park car park. Please note: Parking on the Edenbrook Village residential development is private and visitors may be clamped for unauthorised parking.
