Households can receive solar panels, home insulation and air-source heat pumps under the Warm Homes Local Grant. Over time, this will help residents reduce energy bills and use greener energy in the home.
The new scheme, which is delivered by Warmer Homes, will be available to homeowners and private renters/landlords.
The grant is available to households with a total take-home pay of £36,000 or less a year, or who receive certain means-tested benefits or whose home has an Energy Performance Certificate rating of D, E, F or G.
