Right of appeal

The police and Environmental Health team can object to a temporary event notice if they believe there are good reasons why the event should not go ahead.

You may appeal to your local magistrates’ court if your temporary event notice is overturned in this way. You must do this within 21 days, and at least five working days before the date of your event.

Please note, you can’t appeal if you applied too late for a temporary event notice.
