Hart District Council's Communities Team recently organised a collection from Hart District Council staff and councillors for items to be used by Hart Foodbank to provide Christmas hampers to local residents. They delivered the donated items to the foodbank on Monday (28 November), ready for hampers to be made up and distributed from the beginning of December.
All donations made to the Hart Foodbank make a real difference to local people who will be struggling financially over the Christmas period. There is also an ongoing need for emergency support for those in crisis and so any donations that people are able to make are always gratefully received.
Donations can be made via the collection point at reception in the Hart District Council offices and also at multiple points across the district. For more information about the work that the Hart Foodbank does, or to find out about other collection points where you can donate - visit About | Hart Foodbank
