Hart residents wanting to reduce their energy consumption and winter fuel bills might be eligible for help under the Green Homes Grant.
The grant is to help householders increase the comfort and warmth in their home, including wall, loft and hot water tank insulation.
The scheme also offers renewable heating technologies designed to reduce the impact on the environment, including air source, ground source and hybrid heat pumps, and biomass boilers.
The scheme is open to homeowners, private tenants and people in social rented accommodation, where the home has a reduced energy rating, and the household has a low annual income. Private landlords are also eligible.
Cllr David Neighbour, Leader of Hart District Council said: “Climate Change is a top priority for us at Hart District Council and, combined with the additional pressures from rising fuel costs, we are keen to promote any schemes which help our residents to reduce their carbon footprint as well as their energy costs.
“My thanks to Warmworks who are delivering this scheme on behalf of Hart District Council, and I would urge anyone who thinks they may be eligible for this scheme to check it out.”
The funding is available until April 2022.
