The Met Office Amber Warning for heat has now passed and temperatures have stabilised to more seasonal levels.
Therefore we, together with our waste collection contractor Serco, have taken the decision to return to our usual bin collection start time of 6:30am from Monday 25 July.
The situation will be continually monitored and should the Met Office issue any further warning relating to excessive heat, we may return to early collections.
We would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding during the temporary change to bin collection times.
