We are extremely excited to launch our new housing system, which provides a streamlined customer journey for those that need housing advice, those who wish to apply for social housing, and those who are facing homelessness. Customers will have a personal digital portal through which they can access Hart District Council’s Housing Services. This is a key part of our improved digital journey.

All applicants are being asked to re-register on the new system over the next four weeks. Letters are being posted to applicants with clear instructions on how to do this. There is also a range of provisions for those who cannot register online.
This is purely a re-registration exercise and those who reapply within the four weeks will keep their existing Band and Effective date. We have also paused the bidding cycles from Monday 04/04/2022. The next bidding cycle will commence on Thursday 05/05/2022, so you will not be missing any properties whilst we transition to the new system.
