We're excited to announce the launch of Impact Hart, a new website specifically aimed at the local community to help tackle climate change and promote sustainability.
Impact Hart provides information on a wide range of environmental issues outlining changes we can all make locally to have global impact on the issue of climate change. It is also hoped the website will act as a community hub, with contributions from parish and town councils, local businesses, environmental groups and residents.
Councillor Richard Quarterman, Hart District Council’s Portfolio Holder for Climate Change, said: “I’m thrilled to announce the launch of the new Impact Hart website. Every one of us can do something to start living more sustainably but it can be hard to know where to start. Impact Hart is an excellent place to begin with information on many aspects of our day to day lives.
“This website will provide local information, case studies from those in Hart already making a difference and more to hopefully inspire residents to start thinking about what they can do to reduce their carbon emissions.”
Impact Hart will help residents, businesses and other organisations understand more about their own impact on the planet, as well as what we can all do about it. There are lots of ideas on how to live more sustainably whilst saving money and making a real difference to our lives, as well as for future generations.
