Hart District Council’s Licensing Committee met on 7 June 2022 to consider a review of hackney carriage tariff following a request from the trade.
The change to raise tariffs aims to strike the balance between supporting the taxi trade as a result of the increase in fuel prices, but at the same time supporting the residents and businesses of Hart who are also suffering the cost of living crisis. The current fees have not been reviewed since 2014.
All comments need to be received by Friday 1 July at 5pm.
