Funds and advice to help with essentials
We administer two funds to support households most in need in Hart.
- The Local Welfare Provision Hardship Grant is a financial assistance scheme to help people in a crisis or emergency. It offers low-level financial assistance to prevent a crisis or emergency from getting worse.
You can apply by email at hardship@hart.gov.uk or phone on 01252 774420.
We monitor the email address and phoneline five days a week, excluding public holidays, between 9am and 4.30pm. Outside of these hours, please leave a message and we will respond the next working day.
- The Household Support Fund can help people who do not have sufficient resources to meet the immediate needs of themselves or their dependents.
Please visit the Citizens Advice Hart website for more information on eligibility criteria and how to apply.
