Social housing help

Some housing associations offer support to their customers to help them find work. This can include helping you to create a CV, access training, apply for jobs and improve your digital skills.

VIVID Housing

VIVID Housing offer its residents one-to-one support with employment and training sessions, CV writing, job searches and access to training which extends to ‘in-work’ support. These are based on individual needs, case by case and include:

  • the services of a  Digital Inclusion Manager

  • workshops delivering IT skills 

  • help with setting up laptops, wi-fi and touch-screen devices

  • help paying utility bills

  • information on delivery apps, payment card machines and setting up direct debits 

  • a money advice team which helps residents with registering for benefits and signing up for Universal Credit and completing Personal Independence Payment (PIP) forms.
