We're consulting on new planning guidance for affordable homes with new development.

The guidance aims to secure the optimum mix of affordable homes with new development to best address local needs. Key to this is to secure more ‘social rented’ homes which are the most affordable tenure, in line with our Corporate Plan 2023-2027. 

Public consultation on a supplementary planning document entitled Affordable Homes in New Developments is running for six weeks from Friday 8 November to Friday 20 December.
