Are you interested in developing or building your own home? If so, please register your interest with us so that we can factor your needs into future planning policy and inform you when plots for self and custom-build become available on new developments. Joining the register does not guarantee that a suitable plot will be identified or made available to you.

  • self-builds are projects where an individual or group directly organises the design and construction of their own home(s)
  • custom-builds  are projects where an individual or a group works with a specialist developer

For either option, you need a serviced plot, with vehicle access, on which to build your home. A plot could be standalone or part of a larger scheme.
