Age-restricted housing
Age-restricted housing (accommodation for older people) is usually grouped in clusters of flats, bungalows or houses.
It can provide age-restricted housing for people in specific age-groups e.g. 50+, 55+ or 60+.
Features such as lifts and showers may be designed for people who need help with accessibility.
Some sites also include support services, such as emergency alarms. However, they are not designed specifically to meet the needs of people with care and support needs.
