Comments and objections
Anyone can object to or comment on an application for a club premises certificate. However, the objection or comment must be relevant to one or more of the licensing objectives.
Our Licensing Sub-committee will deal with any objections and comments received. It may only:
- consider relevant matters
- consider each application on its merits (and not compare it to other licensed premises in the district)
We will issue the club premises certificate at the end of the consultation period if no objections have been received from the responsible authorities or other persons.
