Food safety for businesses

You must register your premises if you are going to use them for a food business. These include market stalls, delivery vehicles and other moveable structures. 

You are required to register at least 28 days before trading. We recommend that you do not register too early, but that you wait until 28 days before you are ready to start your operations.

We keep a record of premises and inspect them regularly. How often we inspect will depend on the type of business.
