If you own a premises that supplies alcohol, you must have a designated premises supervisor to authorise the sale of alcohol.

The designated premises supervisor has day-to-day responsibility for the running of the business.
- they must be a personal licence holder
- they must give their consent to be the designated premises supervisor
- you will need to complete a designated premises supervisor consent form
- there is a fee of £23
- after you have submitted the application, it will take immediate effect
- but please note the police will be consulted and have the right to object within 14 days of your application
